Guarantees & Deposits
- We generally require reservations to be guaranteed with a deposit of 20% of the total accommodation cost, to be paid by debit/credit card or cheque. In some instances we may take a credit card as security only, with no advance deduction. We will take card details verbally.
Deposit payments taken through our online booking system will differ from this, and are explained in the terms and conditions displayed at the time of booking.
Cancellations
- We regret that due to our limited number of rooms it is necessary to impose charges for short notice cancellations.
- In the event of cancellation of more than 14 days in advance of arrival no charge is taken.
- Within 14 days we will retain the entire deposit unless we can relet the room, in which case the deposit will be refunded in full.
- For cancellation or reduction of the booking on arrival or within 24 hours of arrival time (i.e. 6pm on the day prior to arrival) we require payment of the first night's room charge. This is in addition to the deposit payment where the booking is for 2 days or more but will be reduced by any portion which we can relet.
Cancellation terms for bookings taken through our online booking system will differ from this and are explaind in the terms and conditions displayed at the time of booking.
We commit to doing our utmost to relet cancelled rooms and to refunding deposits wherever possible.
