The village of Broadway is situated in the Cotswolds in England. Some might say it was discovered by William Morris the English socialist and writer who was born in eighteen thirty four and died in eighteen nintey six. Since Williams discovery artist have come to Broadway for inspiration as the village is typically English with corn coloured stone and great composition. Today the broadway accommodation has tried to remain unchanged but have compromised to fit modern conveniences for tourism. One of the original broadway accommodation houses is the Lygon Arms, this was used as a stage coach stop, a place to refresh horses before the long haul through the national parks steep through ways, as they had to go over the top of the escarpment. This is the site of the Broadway tower, originally used as a deacon with it's commanding panaoramic views of fourteen counties.The Lygon Arms is now run by the Savoy group and is one of the best broadway accommodation stays in Broadway.
